At the Garden Church, we all make church together.  From building garden beds and tending to the plants to helping make food for our weekly community meal and being a greeter to welcome all who visit us, there are many ways to get involved.  All are welcome to participate by sharing their time and talents through volunteer service at the Garden Church.   We have opportunities for people of every age and ability level.  Plus, we love to teach what we have learned, so no prior experience is needed to be of useful service.

Youth Volunteers & Community Service Hours
The Garden Church is full of opportunities for individuals looking to complete community service or service learning hours.  We are happy to verify volunteer service hours for anyone that lends a hand at the Garden Church. If you are a youth under the age of 18 please be sure to get your parent or guardian’s permission before you begin your service hours and please bring a signed Parent/Guardian Consent Form to begin your hours.  Youth under the age of 14 are welcome to volunteer when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Group Volunteer Opportunities
Do you have a scout troop or other community group that is looking for a fun and meaningful opportunity to serve in your neighborhood?  We love hosting groups for special projects and sharing the garden with all who wish to participate.  Please contact us at [email protected] or call 310-929- 0547 to inquire about possible service projects for your LaraAndClaudiaHarvestinggroup or propose an idea of how you might like to get involved.

Participate in the Feed and Be Fed Farm Stand Every Sunday
Do you have fruit trees or an edible garden that produce more than you can eat? Every Sunday bring your backyard abundance to add to our farm stand and help feed the community. Our motto is “take what you need-pay as you can,” with all funds going back into the garden to grown more food and continue feeding all who are hungry that enter our gates.
