"Water & Oil"

Last Sunday we gathered in The Garden between the morning rain and the evening rain, grateful for the in between. The green carpet grows around the sanctuary as we continue toward the 5th Sunday of Lent. We are a place that gives water in the wilderness as Isaiah spoke of in 43:16-21. We appreciate that God has done great things for us spoken of in Psalm 126. by giving us a place, The Garden, to do things in a new way. We will also explore Mary, the sister of Lazarus who showed extravagant love to Jesus and what it all means for us.
Tonight, we open at 6pm for First Thursday, and the community is welcome! We have missed several 1st Thursdays this year due to weather, so we are very much looking forward to being open tonight!
The month of April is a full one in the garden, the week after next is Holy Week concluding with Easter. The Sunday after that is Interfaith Earth Day, a celebration in our garden which includes speakers from several religious traditions. This year's them is "Restoration and New Life." We've also been busy planning our 10th anniversary celebration coming up in May. As part of our preparations we are asking everyone to share a memory from The Garden Church with us. You can share your memory by writing in a journal we have in the garden or by using this link.
All are welcome, come as you are.
In Faith,
Pastor Connie
