Fall is upon us. Rain and cooler weather are coming in just as the cool season crops are ready to be transferred to the raised beds. As the next season of plants mature we wait and we watch.
We have kept busy with events in the garden. Last Saturday was the annual pumpkin smashing compost event which helped us fill our bins once again with donated and smashed pumpkins. Then on Sunday we spent time learn about water as it moves through creation from Elizabeth Sala Master Gardener and Board Chair of The Garden Church. Also on Sunday Connie McOsker preached on the Kin-dom of heaven reminding us we are all Kin and to be compassionate with one another and ourselves as God is with us.
This Sunday we will continue the sermon series on the Kin-dom of heaven by taking a closer look at the passage about the Ten bridesmaids waiting to meet the bridegroom.
All are welcome to our weekly Sunday Rhythm. Come as you are, stay as you are able.
In Faith,
Rev. Amanda
