Here we are in the third Sunday of Advent. A time that is usually a mixture of the joy of the season and also a reminder of all the things we still have to do in life that have not yet been done. The spirit of the season is upon us as we hear the Christmas music playing, the decorations of houses and businesses, and all the expectations as we head towards Christmas Day.
Carving out some time to remember the deeper message of this joyful season is always a good idea. We will be exploring the scripture from the Gospel of Luke and the words of John the Baptist as he tells people about the one who is to come who is more powerful than him. The one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Come and join us as you are able!
Blessings,
Rev. Dr. David Brown
