With the Thanksgiving leftovers devoured we've officially hit the season of getting ready for Christmas. Whether you are marking this season of Advent by preparing your heart to welcome the Lord or are simply decorating and shopping, it seems like everyone is getting ready for something!
In the garden Feed and be Fed will host it's first Wreath Making Workshop Saturday 12/7 from 9am-11:30am. RSVPs are requested, along with a suggested donation of $15 to cover the cost of supplies.
At Sunday Worship we're reading from the Gospel of Luke remembering the story of Elizabeth and Zachariah parents of Jesus' cousin John. And along with the story John's reciting of the words of the prophet Isiah to prepare a the way of the Lord. As the world around us is busy preparing for the Christmas Holiday we will spend time reflecting on inward prepertions of the spirit as we prepare ourselves for the blessing that is Jesus.
We hope to see you in the Garden!
In Faith,
Rev. Amanda
