"Enough and Some to Share"

The December Holidays brought a generosity of Spirit and the Garden Church received some of the bounty. This past Sunday we were able to finish distributing warm coats (much needed this winter), hats and socks to those needing extra warmth. These items were brought to us by St. Peter's by the Sea Presbyterian Church. Along with ponchos we are hopeful to distribute ahead of the next rain. The Generosity of the Holidays also brought us gift cards and donations to continue our work at the church and in the garden caring for the least of these. We have been blessed.

This Sunday we will hear the Gospel of John's version of the multiplying of loaves and fishes. When Jesus asks his disciples to feed a hungry multitude and a miracle of enough and some to share happens. The fear of not enough is met with a theology of abundance. There is enough, enough and some to share.
