This Sunday is the Christian Holiday known as Pentecost. It is the day the church was born as a community of faith for believers to connect with one another. The miracle of connection took place when something that looked like tongues of fire came from the sky, landed on people and allowed them to speak and understand one another in their own language. It was an amazing biblical event which marked the beginning of the church and reminds us all of the presence of the Holy Spirit then and now in our world. This Sunday Connie McOsker who is training to be a Licensed Pastor will bring us the sermon. We are excited to welcome her back. We will also hold a congregational meeting for the purpose of electing Rev. Dr. David Brown as a part-time Pastor following Rev. Jonathan's retirement later this month. Please mark your calendars for our transition worship service on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 4pm when we will bless Rev. Jonathan on his retirement and transition leadership to Rev. Brown, Connie and myself. We hope you will be able to join us for a special Sunday in the life of our church. Come as you are, stay as you are able.
