"Blessed"

As the month of August draws to a close we are grateful for all this last month of summer has brought to the garden. From the Hildegard Retreat, to Feed and be Fed's Tomato tasting to the return of the Port of Los Angeles High School (POLA) students to our garden. It has been a full and fun month.

This Sunday we will have our quarterly community meeting ad a church. This includes an opportunity for membership and our annual election of church board members. Also during our 4pm Sunday worship we will conclude our Sermon Series on the Beatitudes with prayer stations focused on different beatitudes. If you are new to prayer stations, this is a fun interactive and contemplative way to engage in prayer. It often includes things like coloring, painting, reflecting and creating communal art.

We hope you will be able to join us for some or all of our special Sunday worship this week.
