"Active Hope"

Writer's picture: The Garden ChurchThe Garden Church

Spring is here, new plants are going in the ground, and the days in the garden are sunny once again. With the return of sunshine comes our sermon series kicked off last week titled "Crossroads." In the next several weeks we will spend time reflecting on our place in human history and our role as God's hands and feet in this world as we seek to be faithful disciples.

Saturday is Earth Day--a day which is near and dear to use in the garden. Little Sprouts on Friday will include special eco-friendly projects, and our Sunday worship will include prayers for God's creation. At our Sunday worship Garden Church member and Board Chair Elizabeth Sala will bring the message. Her topic is "Active Hope." Join us as we spend time in worship together discerning God's call to us and for this beloved planet.

In Faith,

Rev. Amanda

What We mean when We say All Are Welcome:

At The Garden Church we intentionally welcome all. We do this without requiring adherence to any religious belief or creed. We foster a climate of purposeful inclusion, an environment where all can feel safe, valued, cared for, and given an opportunity to form meaningful connections with the Divine and each other. We cherish the diversity of humanity, a diversity which includes differences in sex, age, race, ethnicity, and national origin, range of abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, financial means, education, and political perspective.

We are also a member Congregation of the Pacific Coast Association of the Swedenborgian Church of North America
